Every year, SBUP takes great pleasure in conducting the grand convocation ceremony and this occasion
fills us with joy and pride. A day is set to honor approximately one thousand graduates accompanied by
their mentors, family, friends and other distinguished people.
Following the set tradition, the
program
begins by an academic procession led from the Prerana Sthal building. Members of the faculty, along with
the Mace bearers, march in unison representing the Traditional values of `Wisdom`, `Knowledge` and
`Progress`. This is a journey in which excitement and anticipation fills the air into what is about to
happen next.
Some of the world’s most outstanding leaders have contributed to making the ceremony
unique in their signature style. Over time, notable leaders such as Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road and
Transport, and Ramesh Bais, Governor of Maharashtra, have been guests to this event. Their words touch
every graduate’s heart and through their wisdom instill the boldness to dream and nurture excellence.
During the occasion, the graduating scholars were handed over the certificates, a result of their
consistent dedication and commitment over the years. The event ends with a joyous lunch during which
alumni, faculty, and families of the graduates come together to celebrate. It truly is a moment of so
much love – of pride, of joy, and yes, perhaps of tears as well.
This event is a great
opportunity to
reminisce, have some fun, and tell stories. At its core, the SBUP Convocation Ceremony is about more
than just tossing off the caps and putting on the gowns. Extremely memorable, in its own way, it serves
as an unrivaled depiction of humanity and a day in which every individual gets an unparalleled chance to
shine.
