Bharathon is an annual marathon hosted by Sri Balaji University, Pune, with an aim of fostering the physical and mental well-being of the student community. This event goes beyond being just a running race, promoting health, social interaction, and community engagement. As India strides toward becoming a Viksit Bharat, it is our duty as citizens to stay healthy and fit and to actively contribute to the nation’s development. Bharathon provides a platform for citizens to come together, promote wellness, and run in unity for a thriving and progressive New India.

Sports, Health & Recreation
Football
We have two well-maintained football fields where our student managers can play and practice well during their free time. Hence, whether you want to unwind yourself after a busy day or want to do regular training exercises, your vibes gel well here.
Volleyball
There are three very well-maintained volleyball courts on campus which provide the student managers with considerable space for engaging in recreational activities after their studies. The structures offer volleyball fans an ideal arena for both social and competitive games.
Cricket Training Practice Nets
There are two cricket practice nets situated on the campus that allow cricketers to train without the interference of other players or activities.
Basketball
Multiple basketball courts are located adjacent to the student hostel and Sports Arena, that allow easy access to students during their leisure hours. This strategic & convenient placement encourages regular physical activity and promotes a healthy lifestyle among students and staff.
Combat Sports Facility
Boxing, Wrestling, and Wushu are very popular among the SBUP family and are built in a modern & well-equipped indoor space. This space supports training and practice sessions for dynamic & physically demanding sports.
Swimming
Swimming pools provide a refreshing and sporty environment for various aquatic activities and exercises.
Cycling for Fitness and Well-Being
At SBUP, we provide bicycles for students and staff to ride. This initiative promotes fitness and healthy living among students & staff.
Gymnasium
This fully equipped gym is a fitness enthusiast’s dream. It offers everything needed for strength training, cardio, or simple body stretching sessions.
Table Tennis
Table Tennis at our university promotes agility, quick thinking, and coordination, offering students a fun and energetic way to stay active indoors.
Yoga
This versatile space can be used for indoor yoga and meditation classes. In addition to this the open campus grounds may provide suitable locations for outdoor yoga sessions.
Snooker
At our university, Snooker offers students a great way to unwind, sharpen focus, and enjoy friendly competition in a relaxed indoor setting.
Chess
Chess at our university fosters strategic thinking, concentration, and mental discipline, providing students with a stimulating and enriching indoor activity.
