Dr. Dhanraj Tambuskar

Dr. Dhanraj P. Tambuskar received his B.E. in Production Engineering from Nagpur University (now RTM University) and his M.E. in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He is a Fellow of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (FIIIE). He earned his Ph.D. in Technology from VJTI, Mumbai.

Currently, he serves as a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management and Dy. Head-Academics at Sri Balaji University, Pune. Dr. Tambuskar has 26 years of diverse experience spanning teaching, research, administration, and industry.

His areas of interest include Operations and Production Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Cellular Manufacturing, Lean/Agile Manufacturing Systems, Simulation and Optimization Techniques, and AI/ML applications. He has successfully guided one Ph.D. student to completion, and eight others are currently pursuing their research under his supervision. He has published over 30 research papers in reputed journals and conferences.

Dr. Tambuskar has been a resource person for orientation programs, Management Development Programs (MDPs), Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and has organized several workshops, conferences, and FDPs. This includes two AICTE ATAL-sponsored FDPs. He has also chaired sessions at various national and international conferences.

He is an active reviewer for several prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Services and Operations Management (Inderscience Publications), the Journal of Operational Research Society of India (Springer), the International Journal of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM Society International), and the Journal of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), among others.

He has also contributed as a Member of the Board of Studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Mumbai and a Member of Board of Examination at IIIE.
